Nigeria At 59: Let Us Remain Hopeful, Steadfast For A Better Nation, Oborevwori To Nigerians

The Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and steadfast for a better nation.
The Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Dennis Otu to mark the 59th Independence Anniversary of the nation, predicted a bright future for the country and implored Nigerians to continue to pray for the unity of the country and leaders.
The statement read in part: “I want to congratulate fellow Nigerians on the 59th Independence Anniversary of our country. As we celebrate another anniversary of nationhood, let us continue to pray for the unity of the country and our leaders at all levels. Let us remain hopeful and steadfast for a better nation.”
“We have fared very well as a nation and people since the attainment of Independence 59 years ago and therefore, let us join forces to make our nation great because Nigerians are a great people. Let us build on the remarkable achievements that we have made over the years. God bless our beloved country,” the Speaker said.
