Ekabo Foundation Presents Car To 79-Year-Old CSO As Birthday Gift

In continuation of its mission to provide support for the less privileged and reward excellence, the Very Rev (Dr) Christopher Vwavware Ekabo Foundation has presented an Audi car to the Chief Security Officer, CSO of St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sapele, Mr Ebosele Salah Unujiaga as a birthday gift when he clocked 79.
The member representing Sapele Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon (Hi-Chief) Felix Uruemuesiri Anirah, made the presentation to Mr. Unujiaga at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sapele on Sunday, 26th January, 2020 on behalf of the Foundation.
Hon Anirah also pledged a N50, 000 monthly support for the maintenance of the car for the next twelve months.
The Foundation’s Coordinator, Eyankuaire Moses Darah, during his brief remarks outlined some of the past humanitarian services of the Foundation to include financial support to ten students studying B.A. Linguistics/Urhobo at the Department of Languages and Linguistics, Delta State University, Abraka, a Siena car for the physically challenged persons association in Sapele and a generating set for the Nigerian Correctional Service, Sapele.
On his part, the Founder and Chairman of the Foundation’s Board, Very Rev (Dr) Christopher Vwavware Ekabo, described the car gift as a token in appreciation of the selfless service and fatherly role of Mr Unujiaga in St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sapele for the past fifteen years.
A delighted Mr Unujiaga thanked the Foundation and members of St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sapele for the surprise birthday gifts.
Other Board members present at the event are Dr. Kester Erawoke, Lucky Ejobee, Hon. Samson Ekabo (Treasurer) and Eguono Balogun.
