Majemite Sues For Peaceful Co-Existence Among Community Leaders

The Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government Council, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Faith Majemite, in continuation of the peace-building process in Erhioke-Kokori Oil bearing community, has called on all stakeholders to join in moving the community forward.
The meeting was attended by all the leadership factions, elders and stakeholders in Erhioke-Kokori community held at the Ethiope East Council Secretariat.
Hon. Majemite called on the Erhioke-Kokori people to remain peaceful and united.
She appealed to the members of the various warring factions of Erhioke, Atagbugwe, Kokori and Samagidi to midwife long lasting peace, saying that they could only enjoy their oil-rich community in an atmosphere devoid of strife.
According to the chairman, the dispute among the community leaders was settled amidst jubilation during the meeting.
