Youth Wing: UPU Appoints Efemena Umukoro As President

The Executive of the Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Worldwide, led by Chief (Engr.) Joe Omene, has appointed Comrade Efemena Umukoro as the new President of the youth body.
Umukoro is the immediate past Secretary of the Youth Wing (Ighelle).
The Urhobo socio-cultural body at the monthly statutory meeting of the UPU held today 2nd February, 2020, in Mosogar, took this decision, considering the report presented by Comr. Igho Ovie Anthony.
You will recall that Comrade Igho, a former President of the youth body was mandated by the UPU executive to reorganize the youth wing of the UPU.
A press release made available to this medium said: “Comr. Efemena Umukoro has been approved as the new Youth ( Ighele ) President and Comr. Andrew Agagbo as the Youth Secretary.”
The press statement added: “The Kingdom Branch Presidents and Secretaries will nominate the Kingdom representatives in the Youth body. They will be in office until the UPU’s case in court will be decided and an election conducted to elect new officers.”
