BREAKING: Honourable Joyce Overah Is Dead

A commissioner on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Hon. Joyce Overah, is dead.
Overah, who was representing Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West Local Government Areas on the DESOPADEC board, died on Tuesday afternoon in Sapele.
The deceased died from an undisclosed illness after two weeks.
Several sources close to the late Overah confirmed the development to Oasis Magazine (OM).
Late Overah served as a member of the House of Representatives for Okpe/Sapele/Uvwie Federal Constituency,
RealTime24 gathered that the deceased in 2019 collapsed moments before his swearing-in as member of the current board of DESOPADEC by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
He was rushed out of the Event Centre, venue for the swearing-in in an ambulance.
OM learnt that he died in his late 50s and is survived by six children and an aged father.
