Delta Cleric, Archbishop Avwomakpa Loses Wife
-She Was A Victim Of Occultic Practice, Family Member Alleges
By Daniel Dafe
Archbishop God-Dowell Avwomakpa, General Overseer of Christ Missionaries Crusaders Church, on Friday lost his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Victoria Avwomakpa, to the cold hands of death.
A family source who confirmed the death under conditions of anonymity said the deceased died on Friday evening.
At the time of filing this report, information made available to Oasis Magazine (OM) said that the deceased was mentally deranged for 25 years until her death and was a victim of occultic practice.
Our source, Bishop Ben Umudi (PhD) who spoke to our reporter said he was in the know of what led to her predicament.
He said: “I am a close relative to Archbishop Avwomakpa and I know what surrounded her sickness that eventually resulted in her death.
“In my revelations many nights she cried to me to be freed. She was used for ritual purposes by someone (name withheld) who wanted fame and power.
“God told me to speak up when she dies and now it’s time to speak out.”
Attempts to speak to the cleric on the claims of Bishop Umudi proved abortive.
Pastor (Mrs.) Victoria Avwomakpa was born on 20th October, 1952.
She hails from Ekrerhavwen town, Agbarho Kingdom in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
She was married to Archbishop God-dowell Avwomakpa 48 years ago and their union was blessed with 9 children.
