JUST IN: Kidnappers Abduct Delta Community Youth President, As UPU Youthwing Demands Unconditional Release Of Orukevwe

The kidnap of the youth president of Ohoro Community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, Ambassador Alex Egedegbe Orukevwe aka (Saboga), has been reported.
According to sources, he was kidnapped yesterday at about 7p.m. along Ughelli-Patani Road, Before Otega Emerhor’s house, as the kidnappers shot sporadically into the air to scare passers-by..
The kidnappers have since contacted his family with his mobile phone number, 0703 505 ***, demanding for N30 Million as ransom.
The incident has been reported at Ughelli Police Division and the police are on a manhunt for the culprits to secure the release of the youth leader.
Reacting to the development, the President of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), Youthwing, Worldwide, Comrade Efemena Umukoro, condemned the kidnap and demanded for the unconditional release of the youth president.
His words: “I am in my way now to the community. But I am calling on the kidnappers to as a matter of urgency release the youth president.
“For the last two days, there have been various kidnap operations along that route. First it was Hon Samuel Marierie, a former lawmaker and then Hon. Samuel Adjogbe and now Ambassador Orukevwe.
“This is a warning to all criminally minded persons in Delta Central to flee the area because the youths will not fold their hands and watch this continue.”
While calling on the police to with the help of the vigilante secure his unconditional release, he assured that UPU youthwing was available to assist in any way possible to secure the release of their kinsman.
