Kidnappers Demand N20M Ransom For 17-Year-Old POST-UTME Candidate Kidnapped In Delta

A 17-year-old teenager, Emmanuel, has been kidnapped in Obiaruku, Delta State.
Harrison Gwamnishu of Safe City Volunteer Foundation, who disclosed this via a Facebook post on Tuesday, said the victim “travelled from Lagos State to Obiaruku, Delta State for his Post-UTME Exam.”

According to the post, Emmanuel was kidnapped along with two others.
He added: “The kidnappers are demanding a 20 million ransom for Emmanuel-an amount far beyond the reach of his struggling family, who have never seen such money in their entire lives.”
Gwamnishu appealed to stakeholders, security agencies, and well-meaning Deltans to urgently step in and help secure the release of the “innocent young boy” and “support his devastated family.”
