UPU Youthwing President Nominated For YEMA Awards

The President of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), Youthwing, Worldwide, Comrade Efemena Umukoro, has been nominated as one of the award recipients to be honoured by the Youth Emancipation Movement of Africa (YEMA).
In a letter signed by Comrade Ibebe Rufus Akpobome, Comrade Patrick Oghenevwogaga and Comrade Paulwinger Omonighare, the Director General of YEMA, Chairmain, Planning Committee and Secretary Planning Committee respectively, YEMA noted that the nomination was hinged on the fact that he is one of the youths “working towards the growth and development of the African continent.”
Adding: “That the award would be presented as part of activities to mark this year’s ‘World Youth Day’ celebration.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on the 12th of August, 2020 at Rainbow Hall, Ughelli, Delta State.
Recall that Comrade Umukoro, who is a recipient of several awards, was recently honoured by the International Human Right Cvommission (IHRC) for his contribution towards helping the African society.
A multi-award human rights activist, he is known for his strict principle that is centred on the rule of law.
