By Daniel Dafe
The Co-ordinator of Non-Indigenes, Delta Central and the Vice President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Delta Central, Chief Nnamdi Uwalaka, has commiserated with Chief (Hon.) Evance Ivwurie, as the former lawmaker representing Ethiope East Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, buried his late wife, Late Mrs. Avwerosuoghene Evance-Ivwurie.
Speaking to journalists at his office in BZ Executive Hotels and Suites, Abraka, Uwalaka said Ivwurie has been a brother, friend and father to all Ndigbo in Ethiope East Local Government Area, adding that the loss is regrettable and that the vacuum created by her demise cannot be filled.
While thanking God for the success of the burial, he described Avwerosuoghene as a woman of virtue who complemented the former lawmaker in many ways.
Continuing, he urged Ivwurie not to be distracted by his present predicament, but remain focused on his pursuits in life.
Furthermore, he prayed for God’s comfort to all those bereaved by the loss.
