BREAKING: Bauchi Lawmaker Shot Dead, Wife Abducted

A member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly representing Baraza Dass constituency, Honouroble Musa Mante was on Thursday night shot dead by unknown gunmen at his residence in Dass.

The gunmen, suspected to be armed robbers invaded his house at the late hours of the night.

His wife was reportedly abducted by the gunmen.

Confirming the incident, Police Public Relations, Bauchi State Police Command, DSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil said “two of his wives and a son were kidnapped by the gunmen”.

He said details would be made available by the police about the incident.

Hon. Musa had tested positive for COVID-19 some weeks ago and was recuperating at home.
