Delta PDP Congress: Otojareri Appreciates Gov Okowa, Chief Ibori

The newly inaugurated Assistant Publicity Secretary of the Delta State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mrs Happy Otojareri, has expressed appreciation and gratitude to the leader of the party and the Governor of Delta State, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa for the successful election and inauguration of PDP executive in the state.
Mrs Otojareri who fielded questions from journalists shortly after their inauguration, also appreciated former Delta State Governor, Chief James Ibori and the Executive Director of Finance and Administration of DESOPADEC and PDP leader of Idjerhe Kingdom, Hon. Chief John Nani.
The new PDP assistant publicity secretary praised the governor for providing a level playing ground that saw to the peaceful conduct of the congress in the state, remarking, “Gov. Okowa’s good leadership style, and commitments to improving the socio-economic wellbeing and promoting infrastructural development for our people has edged our party closer to the grassroot which we must consolidate by moving forward.”
She also appreciated the former Governor of the State, a renowned National leader and an elder statesman, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, whom she described as a pacesetter, purposeful, visionary and detribalised leader that has the interest of the entire Delta people at heart, for his uncommon support and fatherly role that culminated in the peaceful conduct of the congress.
Mrs. Otojareri also specifically eulogized the political leader of Idjerhe Kingdom and Executive Director, Finance and Administration of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Hon. Chief Barr. John Obukohwo Nani, for the vital roles he played in ensuring her nomination, election and inauguration, describing him as a leader who is not only passionate about the infrastructural development of the kingdom but also rewarding hardworking party faithfuls meaningfully by giving them a live-wire.

She noted that, “the strategic leadership ingenuity of the Aghwemutuwevwi of Idjerhe Kingdom has significantly strengthened PDP in Idjerhe Kingdom, Ethiope West LGA and Delta Central Senatorial District.”
She also used the opportunity in felicitating with Barr. Kingsley Esiso for returning as the State Chairman of the Party, as well as all the newly inaugurated executive officers, attributing their emergence to rare humility, passion for service and loyalty to the Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa-led administration.
The deputy image maker of the party expressed confidence in her colleagues ability to consolidate on the party’s achievements in government to further strengthen the party to bring more successes during future elections in the state.
