Recruitment: Delta Police Command Announce Date For Screening

Delta Police Command has said that physical and credential screening of applicants for indigenes of the state who successfully completed the online recruitment registration form have been scheduled to commence from the 24th August to 6th September, 2020, between the hours of 9am and 6 pm daily.

A press statement signed by DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, Police Public Relations Officer, Delta, said the applicants are to report at Cenotaph Okpanam road, Asaba in their clean white T-shirt and shorts wearing a face mask.

The would-be police officers were also asked to come along with the following mandatory basic requirements:
i. National identity number (NIN).
ii. Original and duplicate copies of credentials.
a. O’ level result(s)
b. Certificate of origin
c. Birth certificate/declaration of age
d. Two white flat files
e. Recent passport photographs
iii. Printout of application submission confirmation page.
iv. Duly completed guarantor’s form.

The statement added that “applicants will be scheduled according to their Local Government Areas of origin in alphabetical order.
Furthermore, the Commissioner of Police CP Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa, mni said that the recruitment exercise is absolutely free of charge without any pecuniary obligation.

He assured the members of the public that the entire exercise will be conducted in line with the professional guidelines of the Force.

While wishing the applicants the best of luck, he advised them to be wary of online impostors, scammers and other criminal elements who might want to take advantage of the recruitment process to dupe innocent applicants.

Meanwhile, the said exercise will hold at designated locations across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja for indigenes of different states, the Nigeria Police has said.

This is one of its processes in recruiting 10,000 constables.
