The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) will hold a swearing-in ceremony for its re-elected president, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, today (Tuesday).

The ceremony, which will be attended by Heads of States, Governors and external stakeholders, will be conducted in compliance with the COVID-19 pandemic-related social distance guidelines, and broadcast online, the bank said.

Dr. Adesina was on Thursday re-elected to serve a second five-year term as president of the AfDB, after he was first elected on May 28, 2015.
