Chairmanship Election: Chief Uwalaka Urges Ethiope East PDP To Pick Best Aspirant

The Coordinator of Non-Indigenes, Delta Central and Vice President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Delta Central, Chief Nnamdi Uwalaka, has advised his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ethiope East to pick the best man to represent the party during the 2021 election.
Uwalaka who is a dedicated member of the PDP added that so far, a lot of capable aspirants have indicated interest in the job.
According to him, he was optimistic that Chief Faith Majemite will hand over to a PDP candidate next year.
He urged party leaders and party faithful to be wary of selfish politics that could plunge the party into crisis, adding that over the years, the PDP has held sway in the council area.

He continued: “The choice of who represents us is important and must be someone that can knit the relationship between communities, the different ethnic group in Ethiope East and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
Furthermore, he commended the Okowa-led administration for carrying the non-indigenes along through the State Chairman, Sir Joseph Ikhenna JP in the scheme of things, stressing that there is still room for improvement.
He called on non-indigenes in his senatorial district to continue to support the PDP government in the state.
In the same vein, he thanked the Chairman of Ethiope East, Chief Faith Majemite, for her support for non-indigenes in the area.
He prayed for her to finish strong, as her tenure winds down.
