DELSU VC Raises Alarm Over Scammers Using His Identity, Name On Facebook

Vice Chancellor, Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka, Prof Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba, has informed the public of an ongoing impersonation of his name and identity on facebook.
The don said this on Wednesday in a Facebook post.
In his words, “faceless individuals have created fake profiles, claiming to be me and are soliciting for money from unsuspecting individuals,” adding: “I hereby disclaim any involvement with these fake profiles and solicitations.”

He added: “I do not operate any Facebook profiles other than this which carries my phone number. Please be aware that any requests for money or personal information from profiles claiming to be me are SCAMS. Do not respond to such messages or send any money. I appreciate your vigilance and cooperation in this matter. Thank you.”
