Delta NUJ Election To Hold October 6

The election of executive members into offices to pilot the affairs of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Delta State Council, will hold on the 6th of October, 2020.

Oasis Magazine (OM) reported that the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the Council, Comrade Sonia Unobonjo during the state congress of the council in Asaba on Friday, September 25, 2020, stated that the national secretariat of NUJ would choose a date out of the said dates as suggested by members of the interim committee during their official visit to Abuja recently.

A letter signed by the National Secretary, Walin Shadalafiya, notifying members of the union in the state on the date approved for the election, said the election will hold on the 6th of September, 2020.
At least, 484 NUJ members will participate in the much anticipated election.
