JUST IN: Delta NUJ Election Commences, As Accreditation, Voting Begin

Oasis Magazine can authoritatively report that the accreditation of and voting by members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council in order to elect new leaders in the state to pilot the affairs of the union for the next three years has commenced.
A total of 484 voters from 16 chapels in the state are expected to cast their votes.
At the time of filing this report, Ika, Sapele, Warri, Isoko, Ughelli and Local Government Information Chapels had voted.

The two major parties contending for the various positions are split into the Comr. Michael Ikeogwu, the immediate past chairman’s group under the umbrella of the Redemption team as well as Comr. Churchill Oyowe of the Prize team.
