By Matthew Ogune, Abuja
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun uploading the Edo governorship results from polling units on its online portal.
The INEC Result Viewing Portal (IREV) is a dedicated public portal, that enable voters to view polling unit results real time as the voting ends on election day.
Festus Okoye, National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee had said the move was to further strengthen the transparency in the election result management system which has remained a major source of mistrust in Nigeria’s electoral process.
