Popular Urhobo Orator, ‘Achonachor’ Dies At 58

Popular Urhobo orator, Chief Raphael Okejevwa, famously known as ‘Achonachor’ has reportedly died at the age of 58.
The report had it that ‘Achonachor’ who’s known for his advance, comic words, and quotations died around 11 am on Saturday at Oghara Teaching Hospital after a brief illness.

Until his death, apart from his role as an icon in the association of orators in Urhobo nation, he was a renowned Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta state.
The news of his demise has thrown the entire leaders and personalities of the entire Okpara communities and the local government into mourning.
