Bulgarian boxer Kubrat Pulev has identified a number of qualities he is looking out for ahead of his heavyweight bout against Anthony Joshua.

Both fighters are scheduled to face-off later this year at a yet to be announced venue and date after their earlier date was cancelled due to outbreak of deadly coronavirus.

The 39-year-old Bulgarian is challenging the British-Nigeria pugilist for the WBA, IBF and WBO titles in a mandatory fight.

When asked about the two-time heavyweight champion, Pulev mentioned a few things including the colour of Joshua’s skin as reported by Sky Sports.

“His strengths? I’d say he has a very powerful punch undeniably. His tan is better than mine.”

The encounter was initially billed for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in June, but they are now looking for a new venue after COVID-19 forced them to postpone the meeting.

Pulev is the mandatory challenger for Joshua’s IBF belt after defeating Hughie Fury in a final eliminator in October 2018.

Apart from his mandatory fight against the Bulgarian, Joshua has also been pitched against his countryman Tyson Fury in a unification fight. The Gypsy King and he is fondly referred to dethroned Deontay Wilder earlier this year to claim the WBC title.

Although, both fighters signed a clause that will see them face off for the third time if the outcome does not favour either party.

The 51-year-old who has not stepped into the rings for over two years now reveals he will give his all in the fight.
