Delta State Supervisory Councillors Hold Thanksgiving Service At Mega Praise Church

The Delta State Supervisory Councillors Forum has held a Thanksgiving service dedicating their three years tenure to God and to the Governor of the State, Sen Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, with a promise to do more if given the chance to serve again.
Speaking at a special thanksgiving service on Sunday,17th January, 2021, to mark the end of their tenure in their various local government councils at Mega Praise Church of Christ International, Sapele, the Councillors declared that despite the hiccups, they could only say thank you Lord.
“When we started three years ago we never knew we will get here but God is great, we have gone through this all with his power and all through our tenure with his grace. We must also thank the governor, Sen Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa who has been so supportive despite the shortfall in allocation. We have always been paid and our Chairmen of various local government have been very helpful; we say thank you all,” the chairman of the forum, Hon Eboh Okpako Elvis said.
Eboh also narrated why the twenty five local government councils supervisory Councillors decided to use Mega Praise Church of Christ International as center of thanksgiving.

He said: “Hon Evangelist Michael Diden has really played an important role in our tenure and his fatherly advice has been enormous.”
Also speaking, one of the Supervisory Councilor from Ughelli North, Hon Elohor Uwhobe, Supervisory Councilor for works while thanking God for her tenure pointed out that all the successes recorded was as a result of her council’s boss understanding, calling on other women who want to tow the part of politics to be dedicated and ready to serve the people.
Speaking earlier, the General Overseer of Mega Praise Church of Christ International, Hon Evangelist Micheal Diden called on Christians to discern between the real prophets of God and fake ones, speaking on the topic ‘good and bad prophets.’
Evangelist Diden who is also the Chairman of the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, admonished Christians to always avoid fake prophets.
Present at the thanksgiving service were Supervisory Councillors from the twenty five local government councils which include; Hon. Aniegbunem Nmeko, Hon Bigha Ebenezer, Regina Igangan, Omamuli Ebiyon, Washington Egbeluya, Hon Jimmy Eta ably represented by his wife Mrs Toju Jimmy Eta.
Others are Hon Onotor Sonny, Hon Emaye Daniel, Hon Blessing Omagbetse Edema, Anene Matthew, Chuks O and Josephine Mode.
