Ex Delta CP, Hafiz, Takes Over As AIG Zone 13

Mr Hafiz Muhammed, an Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG), on Wednesday replaced Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG,) Danmallam Mohammed, at Zone 13 Headquarters in Ukpo, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra.
Muhammed, until his redeployment, was in charge of the Delta Police Command as Commissioner of Police.
His assumption of office at the command was sequel to the promotion of Mohammed to the rank of DIG and subsequent redeployment as the DIG in charge of Training and Research Development, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
In a remark after the handover formalities, AIG Muhammad assured the people of Anambra and Enugu states of his readiness to sustain the tempo of crime fighting and ensure that crime is reduced to the barest minimum.
The Zone 13 headquarters near Awka, was created in July 2020. It covers Anambra and Enugu states.
