JUST IN: AGF Backs Probe Of International Oil Coys In Niger Delta
The Honourable Minister of Justice/Attorney General of the Federation, Abubarka Malami SAN, has approved a petition filed by Comrade Agi Bestman for a holistic Investigation against the International Oil companies in the Niger Delta Region.
9news Nigeria gathered that Investigation boarders on Land Grabbing from 1968 to 2018. MOU Implementation Report sent to NAPIMS from 2004 to 2018,CSR Implementation Report sent to NAPIMS from 2004 to 2018.
This was contained in a letter we sighted, signed by the Director Citizens Rights Department at the Federal Ministry of Justice on behalf of the Honourable Minister of Justice Attorney General of Federation, the letter was sent to Comrade Agi Bestman from Rivers State, who doubles as the petitioner and the National Coordinator.

According to the letter, below are the full list of the companies going through this Land Grabbing Investigations:
(1) Nigerian Agip Oil company Ltd
(2) Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Ltd
(3) Chevron Nigeria Ltd
(4) Exxonmobil Nig Ltd
(5) Total E&P Nig Ltd
(6) Sterling Oil Exploration and Production Nig Ltd
(7) Adax Petroleum Nig Ltd
StatOil Nig Ltd
(8) Petrochina Nigerian Ltd
(9) Nexen Petroleum Nig Ltd
(10) Hardy Exploration and Production company of Nigeria Ltd.
(11) Seplate Nigeria Ltd.
When contacted through his known line, 0816662 2830, petitioner who doubles as the national Coordinator said each IOCs grabbed over 6500 hectares of land, meanwhile pipe lines not inclusive.
According to him, “the IOCs and their cohorts did this using the name of federal government and state government of Nigeria. The IOCs operating without C of O or right of ownership.”
He also made complain that all the IOCs rejected the proposed revalidation perimeter survey on all

(2) Base Camps
(3) Oil well heads
(4) Pips lines etc.
calling on them to with urgency for maximum cooperation in respect to the perimeter survey in the Niger Delta Region.
