Natives Thank SPEB For Building Toilet At Ikeresan Primary School, Plead For Borehole To Enable Pupils Utilize Facility

Ikeresan community, Sapele Local Government Area, Delta State, has commended the Delta State Primary Education Board for the construction of a school toilet at Ikeresan Primary School.

Members of the community who could not express their joy, said they were appreciative of SPEB construction of the school loo, adding that the project was without water.

“You can’t build a loo for school children without adding a borehole or a dugout water well to use alongside it, that is why we are appealing to the state government to call the contractor to site to provide a borehole, so that we can make full use of the loo,” Madam Theresa Akpome, one of the village women said.

Madam Akpome, who spoke to journalist however called the state governor, Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa to dabble into the school problems so as to make the school compound conducive for the children.

“Everywhere around here is like forest, the building Seplat helped us to renovate and that of SPEB loo is the only thing here, our staff building and primary six classrooms are off and the gate is something else, please help us,” she said.

Others who spoke also commended the state. government for the intervention insisting that what SPEB has done would go a long way into boosting education in the rural areas.
