Edward Ederaine Donates School Uniforms, Books To Delta Pupils

The President of Okpe Union in North America, Mr Edward Ederaine, has donated school uniforms and exercise books to pupils of Ikeresan Primary School in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
Mr Edward Ederaine who was represented by Queen Stephanie Ikanone Odiete while presenting the educational materials, noted that the gesture was all about putting a little change and smiles on the faces of the pupils and schools starting from the grassroots that have suffered neglect for so long.
He disclosed that he had in the past provided textbooks and exercise books to some primary schools in Sapele and Okpe Local Government Area, even as he had also paid examination fees for students in other schools.
Explaining the rationale for the gesture, the President of Okpes in North America stated that he was moved by the sight of the pupils sometime ago when some set of journalists visited the school and they sent him pictures, hence the donation of the thirty pieces/ pairs of uniform for both females and males as well as exercise books to the schools.

Mr Edward Ederaine further added that he decided to invest in education because of the numerous benefits that the child and society would derive from it.
He urged other sons and daughters within and outside the community to support the pupils as a way of contributing to the growth and development of society.
He assured that he has the high hope to make the difference no matter how little as long as it would impact and put smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries.
Mr Edward Ederaine also employed two teachers to complement the few ones in the School.
Two of the beneficiaries, Wisdom and Miracle Obakpororo thanked Mr Ederaine for the uniforms and notebooks with a prayer that God will continue to bless him
Also speaking, Mrs Omoruwa P.O, the head teacher of Ikeresan Primary School expressed joy at the kind gesture by Mr Ederaine, saying it had put smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the community.
Acknowledging that what Mr Ederaine has done was laying a better foundation for tomorrow leaders, she prayed: “God will continue to bless you sir wherever you are; some have money but do not have the spirit of giving.”
“Mr Ederaine, you have that spirit of giving and you derive joy in helping,” said the head teacher.
