The immediate past President of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Youthwing, Worldwide, Nicholas Omoko, has taken a swipe at two executive members that served in his adminstration, Ovie Ebireri, Deputy President
and Joseph Adjari, Secretary, saying that their rebellious and treacherous activities against him during his 3-year tenure from 22nd July, 2017 – 22nd July, 2020, made him understand better how far to trust human being.

In a social media post on Facebook, the youth leader while wishing the duo a happy New Year, added that what he experienced in.the hands of Ovie and Adjari prepared him greatly for future life challenges, adding that those he handed over to are doing well.

He said: “I always let you guys know that I was the shield, umbrella and roof covering you people and the body. But your inordinate and desperate desires to get power through the back door, coupled with the support you guys got from some unscrupulous elements in the Elders Council who are poverty stricken. They found in you guys available tool of fools to use to achieve their devilish aims.”

Omoko said some “of the elders were determined to feed through the youth body; while some other elders in this group want to get government appointment through the youth body.”

According to him, the “credible team he handed over to are doing plenty well,” as he opined that those Ovie and Adjari supported have gone into extinction.

He said further: “I hope you are enjoying your empty imaginary office right now? How d market come be 4 una na?

“The word of God in the Holy Bible, precisely in the book of Proverbs 17:13 said “Those who use evil to pay back good, they shall swim in suffering all the days of their life.”

The outspoken youth leader who prayed that they reap back the treatment they meted on him hoped that the two youth leaders would be an example to serve as a deterrent to others on the dangers of insubordination.
