Adamawa Times Publisher, Abdullazeez Dies In Fatal Accident

A veteran journalist and the Publisher of Adamawa Times, Ibrahim Abdullazeez is dead
Abdullazeez who was also a correspondent with Voice of America (VOA) was involved in
a ghastly motor accident on Friday, along Gombe- Alkaleri road while on official assignment.

A statement by the Adamawa State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) signed by the secretary of the Union, Fidelis Jockthan, confirmed the incidence.
The statement said: “The Adamawa State council of Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ) regrets to announce the death of one of its member, Ibrahim Abdullazeez, correspondent of Voice of America (VOA)
“The Veteran Journalist,who was also the publisher of “Adamawa Times” died during a ghastly motor accident today, Friday, along Gombe- Alkaleri road while on official assignment.”
Adding that “the council is in contact with the family and authorities concern for the taintative time for the burial tomorrow morning.”
“Our members will be duely communicated.
Kindly take heart,” the statement added.
