Gunmen Kidnap UNIPORT Lecturer, Ayuwo
A lecturer in the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), Dr Jones Ayuwo of Linguistics department has been allegedly kidnapped at gun point in Bori, Khana LGA.
He was abducted at about 6pm on Sunday..
His car was taken alongside with them on his way..
He is said to have been returning back from Andoni after an event.

Dr Jones Ayauwo who is said to be the Head of Linguistics Department at University Of Port Harcourt UNIPORT, was kidnapped to an unknown destination. while RSTV camera were seized by the gunmen as the news crew that was in the car were later abandoned midway.
The three RSTV News crew said to be kidnapped with the lecturer and later abandoned along the road includes Cletus Enerujama (Translator), Godspwer ANELE (Reporter) & Thursday (cameraman) were waylaid by four armed men on their way from Andoni and their camera, phones with other valuables taken from them.
The victims (RSTV Crew) found their way to police station in Bori to report the incident.
The Police Public Relations Officer Of The Rivers State command confirmed the incident but said details are still sketchy.
”I have the report of bduction of people coming back from Andoni but yet to get the full details. I will keep you posted pls,” he said.
