JUST IN: Abraka Business Man Abducted On Sunday Regains Freedom

CEO, Immaculate Dynasty, a popular boutique in Abraka, Ojo, has regained his freedom after he was kidnapped alongside his wife, Alice, on Sunday while on their way to his beach, Immaculate Island in Erho-Abraka.

His wife was said to have been pushed out of his Venza car in the next community, Oria since their target was Ojo.

On Tuesday, news came that he has been released and has since reunited with his wife and baby.

Police sources revealed that the Venza car was abandoned on Sunday in one Otumara village after it ran out of fuel and Ojo had to be transferred from his car to the kidnappers’ vehicle.

Sources said that confessional statements by the victim said that the kidnappers looked like a syndicate group since those that kidnapped him were not the same persons that held him hostage.

“Police from Abraka had to drive through a road to the right before the army checkpoint on your way to Sapele. He was rescued from a bush in that area,” our sources added.

While police sources said he was rescued by police officers of the Abraka Division led by the DPO, CSP Shabba, an indigene in the community said he escaped from the kidnaopers’ den.

Meanwhile, Oasis Magazine (OM) gathered that Ojo has beefed up the security apparatus around him after his ordeal in the hands of the kidnappers.

Attempts to speak with the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya were unsuccessful as she did not pick or return calls put across to her mobile phone at the time of filing this report.
