NUJ Delta Mourns Passage Of Veteran Journalist, Eric James
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council has regretted the demise of a veteran journalist, Mr. Eric James.
In a Statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary, Comrades Michael Ikeogwu and Patrick Ochei, they said the Union would greatly miss the professional contributions of Mr. Eric James who was a UK trained journalist and retired as General Manager of Delta Broadcasting Service, DBS Warri.
“The Union is proud to have associated with Mr. Eric James while he was still very much in practice. We will miss him greatly, because the vacuum created by his absence will not be easily filled.
“We want to use this medium to console the family and pray that God grants them the consolation they need at this moment of bereavement.

“The Union in the State will continue to cherish the memories of Mr. Eric James as a thorough-bred professional and doyen of journalism”, the Statement read.
