According to multiple sources, Ada Jesus Mercy Cynthia Ginikachukwu, a renowned Nigerian comedienne, has passed away.

Fans have taken to social media to mourn the death of the iconic comedian, who had been fighting a health problem prior to her death.

Maria Ude Nwachi, an Ebonyi senator, announced her death on Facebook, writing: “EXCLUSIVE! Mercy Cynthia Ginikachukwu, who played Ada Jesus, has died. “Rest in peace.”
