ANIAS Congratulates Hon. Christian Aburime On National Excellence Award

The Association of Non-Indigenes in Anambra State (ANIAS) has congratulated Hon. Christian Aburime, Chief Press Secretary to Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, on his receipt of the National Excellence Award in Strategic Communication and Public Service.

Aburime was honoured at the 10th National Leadership Integrity and Development Summit and Awards 2026, held at Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja, organised by the Centre for Ethical Conduct Orientation and Empowerment (CECOE).

The association, in a statement signed by its President General, Hon. Prince Chigozie Nweke, described the recognition as a testament to Aburime’s professionalism, dedication, expertise in strategic communication and service to the Anambra State Government.

For ANIAS, the recognition was particularly significant because Aburime is a non-indigene of Anambra State who has risen to serve as the image and voice of the state government.

The association said his appointment and the national recognition demonstrated what it described as the inclusive nature of the administration of Governor Soludo, where residents are given opportunities to serve irrespective of their state of origin.

“Hon. Christian Aburime is one of us — a proud non-indigene who has risen to become the image and voice of the Anambra State Government,” the association said.

The association also thanked Governor Soludo for what it described as his support and empowerment of non-indigenes in his administration.

Nweke congratulated Aburime once again, describing him as “our brother and our pride.”
