Gov Okowa Swears-In Acting Chief Judge For Delta Judiciary
Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, on Monday, May 25, 2021, administered Oath of Office and Oath of Allegiance on Hon Justice Theresa Diai, as Acting Chief Judge of Delta State, at the Exco Chambers, Government House, Asaba.
The governor thanked the former Chief Judge, Honourable Justice, Marshall Umukoro, for his unblemished service to the state, while urging the Acting CJ Diai, to build on the remarkable legacies of her predecessor.
The swearing in ceremony was attended by the Deputy Governor, Barr Kingsley Otuaro, Supreme Court Justice, Hon Justice Samuel Oseji, Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly represented by his deputy, Rt Hon Ochor Ochor, President of the Customary Court of Appeal, former Chief Judge of Delta, Hon Justice Roseline Bozimo, the outgoing CJ, Hon Justice Umukoro, Head of Service/functioning SSG, Mr Reginald Bayoko, mni, Permanent Secretary, Government House, Sir Eddie Gbegbaje, DOP Ifeanyi Eboigbe, PSG Hilary Ebegbuleum, Manager Communication, Hon Jackson Ekwugum, CPS Olise Ifeajika, EACGOV Barr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, JP and other senior government officials.
