Judiciary Autonomy: JUSUN Threatens To Continue Strike If States Fail To Implement Buhari’s Executive Order 10

There may be no end in sight soon in the fight between the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), and the Government over its ongoing strike, as the union is calling on the state governors to implement the executive order 10 as signed by President Buhari and respect the 1999 constitution as amended.

Chairman of Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) in Cross River State, Comrade Asanya Ebong, made this known, during a radio programme monitored by ait. live in Calabar.

Ebong who accused the state governors of taking presidential order for granted, called on the Attorney-General, Accountant- General and Auditors General of the States and Federal Government to reconsider their stand on the matter by respecting the law and office of the President

He said failure to implement the Presidential executive order, the strike will continue without looking back.

Court activities have been paralyzed in the last two months over the strike embarked upon by the judiciary workers due to non-implementation of the judiciary autonomy and financial independence as signed by the president.
