5 Dead, 4 Arrested As Cult Groups Clash In Jesse

A cult clash between two rival.cult groups at Okunoho in Jesse community of Ethiope West Local Government Area has left 5 dead.
According to sources, two of the five deceased were shot dead, while the other three are said to have drowned in Jesse River.
Oasis Magazine (OM) learnt that a combined raid by the gallant officers of Jesse Police Division, Anti-Cult Volunteer Corps, Vigilante group and community youths led to the arrest of four (4) of the notorious cultists while they tried to escape into the bush.

When contacted, the police spokesman in the state, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident.
According to him, two deaths were reported and three suspects arrested, but said he was not aware of those that got drowned.
