Cult Clash Claims Two In Orhuwhorun, As Community Protests

A clash between two rival cult groups in the ancient Udu Community of Orhuwhorun in Udu Local Government area of Delta State has claimed two lives, suspected to be cultists on both sides with residents of the community coming out in their numbers to protest the menace of cultism in the area.
The protesters had barricaded the entrance to the community during the protest which took the intervention of a combined battle ready security agents to restore normalcy to the area.

When the Police Public Relations Officer ( PPRO ), Delta Command in Asaba, DSP Bright Edafe, was contacted for confirmation of the incident, he said he had not been briefed.
In a related development, rival cult groups had laid siege at Enamejewa, Sam Warri , Igbi , Okandeji , Ometan , Old Welfare among other streets in Otovwodo ( Agbassa ) area of Warri in Warri South Local Government Area of the state.
The rampaging cultists were reported to have been dispossessing residents at Enamejewan of their money, handsets and other valuables, especially in the night.
