BREAKING: Delta Education Ministry Fixes Wednesday, June 23 For Make-up Cognitive/Placement Exams For Primary Six Pupils

The Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, has announced a new date, Wednesday, June 23, 2021, for a make-up Examination for the Cognitive/Placement for Primary Six Pupils that would be interested in writing the Common Entrance Examination into the Nigerian Navy Secondary School, scheduled to hold on Saturday, June 19 in the state.
A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Augustine Ede Oghoro, said that the Cognitive / Placement Examination for pupils in public and private schools would hold on Saturday, June 19, as scheduled.
Mr. Oghoro, who stated that the decision to fix Wednesday, June 23 for the affected Primary Six Pupils was to give them the opportunity to participate in the entrance examination into the Navy Secondary School, that would also be conducted on Saturday, June 19 and to ensure that no pupil was denied the opportunity to take both examinations.
The Basic and Secondary Education Permanent Secretary, stated that the three designated Centres for the make-up examination included St. Patrick’s College, Asaba; Government College, Ughelli; and Hussey College, Warri , adding that the examination would hold at 9:00am prompt.

Mr. Oghoro, however, enjoined teachers, parents and guardians to take note of the date for the make-up examination and emphasised that the Cognitive/Placement examination would hold on June 19, 2021.
