Delta 2023: 3rd Force Organization Inaugurates LGA Executive Members In Asaba
Ahead of the 2023 general elections in Nigeria, 3rd Force Organization, has in her first consultative meeting inaugurated LGA Coordinators.
The ceremony took place on Thursday in Asaba.
National Coordinator of the group, Chief David Omoru, while addressing members, said that the aims and objectives of the group is to produce a governor that will succeed Okowa in 2023.
He explained that about seven years ago, the group was on ground, but then it was known as PEACE GROUP, stating that the group worked tirelessly to produce a credible governor in Delta State, adding that today everyone is enjoying the choice of Okowa.
He explained that 3rd Force, a pressure group, has a project for 2023 elections, and whoever that emerges as governor of Delta State will be a grassroot-oriented person, just like the present governor.
“Whoever will take over from Okowa will do more than him and that is our target and mandate and there will be no imposition of candidates.”
The National Coordinator disclosed that Delta State needs a governor that will focus on the mandate of good governance just like Governor Okowa is doing now while in office.
