BSA Foundation Distributes Staple Food To Over 3000 Residents In Ogbomoso
Founder and President Booda Sunday Adeyemo Foundation (BSA), has distributed staple food packages to assist Ogbomoso residents who are struggling to sustain livelihood due to Nigeria’s harsh economic reality.
The event that held at Baptist Grammar School, Ahoyaya, Ogbomoso South had in attendance political stalwarts, spiritual fathers and various councillors from each local government in Ogbomoso zone.
The program, tagged “BSA Operation Feed The Needy”, attracted more than 3000 beneficiaries including widows, orphans, aged and the poorest of the poor house holds in the society.
Speaking with newsmen, Hon. Sunday Adeyemo noted that the Foundation is committed to humanitarian services and part of its efforts is to provide assistance in form of staple foods to the needy especially those affected by the recent pandemic.
Each packages consisted of Beans, Cookies, Garri, Spaghetti, among others.
Mouthpiece NGR recalls that the Founder of the Non governmental organization recently commissioned a renovated borehole to meet basic water needs of the populace at Orita-Ajaawa, Ogbomoso.
According to Adeyemo, humanity should be the first priority of all political office holders particularly at this trying time that Nigeria is faced with myriad of problems and economic challenges.
He said it is part of the reason why his foundation deemed it fit to distribute the food items after engaging in several humanitarian services.
At the event, the new Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Segun Ebenezer Ogunwuyi supported “BSA Operation Feed the Needy” with a sum of N200,000. and was received by the foundation’s president, Sunday Adeyemo Jeremiah. The cash was presented by Hon. Amusan Damilare.
Those present at the event included Chairman, PDP South, Women Leader PDP South, Reverend Dr M.O Oludare, Idioro Baptist Church, Ogbomoso Community Youth Forum (OCYF) President, Reverend Peter Olaleye.
Others are councillors, Local Security Operatives Codenamed Amotekun, Operation Burst, Civil Defense, Cadet, OYRTMA, PDP members, among others.
