The Assistant National Publicity Secretary of DC-23 Lobby Group, Hon Festus Pemu, has denied the entire content of the statement titled; “Delta 2023: The Delusion Grandiose of A Sore Looser” purported to have been issued by him on behalf of the group.
The statement turned out to be a fraudulent, unauthorised and mischievous response to Eacgov Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe’s radio interview which was also published and widely circulated on social media platforms.
Pemu, in a phone call to governor Okowa’s EAC, on Tuesday July 13, 2021 said the language and coinage of the statement does not reflect his civilised approach to political issues and could not have under any circumstances issued such offensive and quarrelsome statement devoid of decorum.

He disclosed that the statement emanated from one Mr Benjamin Ogbimi, a member of Chief Ighoyota Amori’s media team (Amoribility), and wondered why Ogbimi could not gather enough courage to indicate his name as the author of the vicious statement.
“Dr Oghenesivbe, I had to call you to inform you that the said statement was not issued by me, and I was thrown aback when I read it.
“God, has blessed my political career and I do not have any reason under the sun to attack somebody who did nothing to my person.
“Your statement was directed at DC-23 and it is impossible for me to pick personal quarrels with you as expressed in the statement,” Pemu said.
