NCDC Records 50 New COVID-19 Cases, One Fatality

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 167,909 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated July 5, the NCDC reports 50 new cases with one COVID-related death.
The new cases were reported in 4 states – Lagos-31, Yobe-11, FCT-4, Ogun-3 and Rivers-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported from Sokoto, Plateau, Nasarawa, Oyo, Ekiti and Kano states.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,400 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,122.
