Oyo State Chief of Staff, Hon. Segun Ebenezer Ogunwuyi, has commenced a door-step engagement to make the ongoing national permanent voter’s card registration easier for people in Ogbomoso zone.
Mouthpiece NGR recalls that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had in mid-June launched an online portal for Nigerians to register as voters.
The portal was created for intending registrants to commence the process online by providing relevant details before booking an appointment to visit the commission’s office.
On Monday, OSE4GSM team led by the Chief of Staff’s personal assistant, Deji Ola stormed Ogbomoso to Pre-Register those who wish to collect new permanent voter’s card (PVC).
The volunteer team commenced the process at Blind Centre area along Fapote road, Ogbomoso South to make the registration processes generally easier, thereby giving Nigerians a pleasant electoral experience.
According to Deji Ola, the registration is to make the enrollment more accessible, friendly and to encourage more registrants as election approaches.
