Official Inauguration Of River Ethiope Basin Institute To Kickoff 10AM Today In Abraka

The programme of activities for the official inauguration of River Ethiope Basin Institute (REBN) is scheduled to commence at 10a.m. today in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area, Delta State.
The event organized by River Ethiope Trust Foundation and Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, in collaboration with Niger Delta Dev. Authority & Benin-Owena River Basin Dev. Authority, will hold at the 1st 750 Hall, Site 3, DELSU, Abraka.
Dignitaries expected to grace the event include Chief Patrick Ukah, Secretary to the State Government, Delta State (Special Guest of Honour), Hon. Chief Christian Onogba, Commissioner of Environment, Delta State (Guest of Honour), Rev. Nnimmo Bassey, MFR, Director, Health of Mother Earth Foundation (Keynote Speaker) and Professor Robert Ikomi (Guest Lecturer).

All Royal Fathers within Ethiope East Basin will be in attendance.
The event, with theme: ‘Waterways in our Communities and Rights of Rivers,’ will be chaired by Professor Oladipo Afolabi OON, CFR, Former Head of Service of the Federation with Professor Andy Egwunyenga, Vice Chancellor, DELSU and Professor (Chief) A.E. Ekoko JP FSHN, Chairman BoT, River Ethiope Trust Foundation, as Chief Host and Host respectively.
