Ossai Inaugurates Committees For 2021 Zenith Bank/Delta State Headmasters’ Cup Competition

Delta State Commissioner for Primary Education, Mr Chika Ossai, has ingaugurated the 2021 Zenith Bank/Delta State Headmasters’ Cup Committees with a charge to deliver effectively on their assignments.

Ossai, gave the charge in his office in Asaba, while inaugurating the eight committees for the forthcoming Headmasters’ cups Inter House Sport competition.

The Primary Education Commissioner, admonished the chairmen and members of the various committees to embrace team work, adding that inauguration was aimed at ensuring that the Zenith Bank and the Delta State Government achieve the desired success of the competition.

Ossai disclosed that the competition, which would kick start on the 28th of September, 2021 would run all through till they get to the final stage of the sport.

He emphasised the strong need for every member of the committees to put in more commitments to achieve results, adding that they were running out of time for the competition.

According to the Commissioner, there would be a press briefing on September 28 and 30 as part of the the opening ceremony

In his remarks, the representative of Zenith Bank Plc, Mr. Dickson Egede, said that the institution was happy to partner with the Delta State Gvernment in catching the children young in the field of soccer, explaining that the bank would contribute its quota towards actualising the success of the competition.

The Commissioner for Primary Education is the chairman of the Local Organising Committee while other committees included Technical and Venue committee, Medicals committee, Protest / Disciplinary Committee, Protocol / Ceremonial Committee, Media/ Publicity/ Marketing and Branding committee, Entertainment Committee and Security committee.

The highpoint of the event was the inauguration of the committees.
