PCRC: Delta Police Command Presents Cash Donations To 7 Families Of Slain Officers

The Delta State Police Command has presented cash donations to the families of those who lost their loved ones in the line of duty during attacks on police divisions in the state recently.
This was disclosed in a statement by the state’s Acting Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright.
According to the statement, in Nsukwa Division three lives were lost, adding that Umutu division lost two constables while others died during the attacks on Akwukwu Igbo and Ashaka patrol teams.
Continuing, the police spokesman said the cash donations of various amounts were presented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration, DCP Anyasinti Josephine Nneka to the affected.
“The DCP who presented the cash donations on behalf of the CP Delta state, CP Ari Muhammed Ali FCIA, Psc+ said it was a token provided by the Nigeria Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) to the families of our fallen heroes,” Bright said.
Adding: “The DCP noted that the token is to let them know that the efforts of their loved ones who died in line of duty did not go unnoticed. She also said that the families of the late officers should not give up in life, instead they should do all they can to make their late loved ones to be proud of them even in death.”

The families who appreciated the gesture showed to them by the PCRC, promised to utilize what was given to them judiciously.
