Aide To Rivers Politician Killed By Electric Shock While Charging Phone And Receiving Call
Osaki Diri, an aide on Social Media to the Chairman of Degema Local Government Area, Rivers State, Hon. Michael John Williams, has died after he was electrocuted while answering a call when charging his phone.
A family source confirmed that the incident happened at his residence on Thursday in Port Harcourt and that his wife who had attempted to rescue him was also shocked but survived electrocution.
Diri had only wedded on the 28th of August in Port Harcourt.

Reacting to the incident, the Degema Council boss, while commiserating with the bereaved family, described Diri as a God-fearing, humble and hard-working young man, who endeared himself to many in the short time he lived on earth.
Diri was one of the 23 social media aides engaged by the council chairman in August.
