Fire Guts Popular Abuja Market

On Tuesday night, a fire incident occurred at a popular market, Nyanya, Abuja barely three weeks after a fire outbreak at Kubwa Ultra-Modern Market in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where many people lost their lives.

The incident caused pandemonium in the market as traders and passers-by ran for safety.

The cause of the fire which started around 8 pm could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.

However, FCT firefighters are currently battling to put out the raging fire.

Some residents of the area have also joined the firefighters to put the fire under control.
