Nwoko To Deliver Covid-19 Lecture As Lead Speaker At ACNPN’s Media Week

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Health Monitoring, Dr Michael Nwoko will be delivering a lecture on Covid-19; its implications on unvaccinated community of persons and of course, the benefits in observing the approved World Health Organisation’s protocols, including Vaccination.
Nwoko who is a leading voice in driving Delta State Government’s policies on Covid-19 since its outbreak, will seize the opportunity of interfacing with the actual opinion leaders from various communities of the state, to convince them on the need to propagate the message of collective cooperation to eradicate the pandemic from the state.
The award winning medical doctor was carefully selected to do justice to the Theme of the Association of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria, ACNPN’s Media Week, as a result of his grounded Knowledge of infectious diseases, for which Covid-19 is one.
Again, the group considered the fact that Dr Nwoko had done much more Advocacy on the issue of Covid-19 pandemic, using several mass media channels on many occasions to appeal to citizens of the state to get vaccinated.

In most of the interviews Nwoko had granted, he usually takes time in explaining the myth behind the dreaded disease while at the same time pushing for vaccination with everybody in mind.
The Publishers had considered Dr Nwoko as a great instrument in helping the government to persuade vaccine hesitant persons to get vaccinated, while at the same time achieve its desire to eradicate Coronavirus. As a result of this confidence reposed in him, he was chosen to deliver the lecture on the Theme: “Community Media, Covid-19 and Proper Information Management” directly to Delta community stakeholders.
The event will hold at Orchid Hotel in Asaba on 11th November, 2021, with dignitaries from all walks of life coming to be a part of the great event.
