He applauded the women who came out massively for this year’s programme for organising a pack full life changing activities , which he claimed was better than previous years, as he described it as “an eventful programme which has international standard.”
Hon. Evangelist Diden who is the Founder and General Overseer of the church in his very short but soul searching sermon, appealed to the women that with the topic which they have chosen for themselves this year, non of them should go and sleep until peace takes over the country once again.
The man of God who read the Bible from the book of Mathew, 22 verse 34, said the purpose of this year’s WOMEN CONVENTION “is to put our enemies to shame and silence.”
He asked the woman a salient question which says, “if you are asked, what is the message you brought home from this year’s convention what would you tell the people at home?” Just as he appealed to all of them to love every body like themselves like Jesus Christ himself who paid the supreme sacrifice for our sins.
He told them that ” your message to your people is that they should love others so much like Ejele who loves His God so much, which is the basis for our worship service to God and the foundation of Christianity.”
He emphasised that man from the beginning, is a political animal, therefore, we as Christians, should engage in politics so that we can be in a better stead to attend to the needs of our people in a true democratic setting.
One of the guest preachers, Pastor Mrs Precious Iyoha, prayed for the visitation of God upon the women in every aspect of their life as the programme lasted.
